Cardinals release quarterback Sam Bradford

Less then eight months after signing him to a $20 million deal, the Arizona Cardinals have parted ways with quarterback Sam Bradford.

In March, the Cardinals signed Bradford to a one-year deal worth $20 million, including $15 million in guaranteed money. He opened the 2018 season as the Cardinals' starting quarterback, but he was benched in favor of rookie QB Josh Rosen at the end of the Cardinals' third regular-season game vs. the Chicago Bears on Sept. 23.
